    I’m an aussie and I …
I’m an aussie and I can’t think of a player that has ever had the presence that Lomu had on a pitch. The best moment ever was Lomu using Mike Catt (I think) as a speed hump before scoring in the corner. Absolute classic. England have never recovered.

    I am an Australian …
I am an Australian and saw him play against us in 2000. It was a world record crowd of 108,000 people. He won the game for the All Blacks. One of the great games. Every time he got the ball 108,000 people went silent. Dead silent. He is one of the great players.

    Did you know there …
Did you know there is a history of kidney problems in his family? It had nothing to do with steroids or sports, just unfortunate genetically inherited kidney disorder. My uncle had the same problem, but he died two years after his kidney transplant. Jonah had gone out of his way to increase awareness of kidney disorders and serves as a model of someone who overcame great odds to play rugby again. He’s a wonderful role model.
